Encadra Privacy Policy
Revision date: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Akira Shimizu, a sole proprietor trading as Convly (the “Operator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the Encadra camera application (the “App”), the official Encadra website, and support inquiries.
1. Operator
- Operator: Akira Shimizu (清水 明)
- Trade name: Convly
- Address: Daini Cosmos 102, 1-21-25 Mukaihara, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi 403-0018, Japan (〒403-0018 山梨県富士吉田市向原1-21-25 第二秋桜102)
- Contact:
info@convly.jp
2. Information handled by the App
The App handles the following information on your device to provide its features:
- images captured by the camera and processing information such as image orientation and dimensions;
- App settings such as selected ratios, Custom ratios, Pinned ratios, and capture settings;
- Sequence templates, capture order, work in progress, and composite results;
- temporary images and processing state while saving or after a save failure; and
- one reduced preview of the most recent photo successfully saved through the App.
The App is not designed to send these photos, settings, or Sequence data to the Operator’s or RevenueCat’s servers. The App does not create a user account or provide cloud synchronization.
3. On-device processing of photos, camera data, and the photo library
- The App processes captured images on your device for capture, cropping, orientation correction, JPEG generation, Sequence composition, and saving to the photo library.
- Camera access is used for capture. The App uses operating-system functions to save photos to the photo library.
- The App does not request location permission and does not add location information to photos it saves.
- A photo may include a person, place, document, or other information about you or another person. You are responsible for checking applicable law and the rights of other persons when choosing subjects and locations and when saving or using photos.
- Photos saved to the photo library are managed in your photo library. Deleting the App does not by itself delete those photos from the library.
4. On-device retention and deletion
- Failed or incomplete temporary data may remain on the device for up to 72 hours so that processing can be resumed or safely cleaned up. It becomes eligible for deletion after that period.
- The App retains only one reduced preview of the most recent successfully saved photo and replaces it after the next successful save.
- Ratios and other settings may remain on the device until you change them, delete the App’s data, or uninstall the App.
- In-progress Sequence data is removed following completion, cancellation, expiration of the maximum retention period, or another safe state transition defined by the implementation.
- Actual behavior involving operating-system backups, device migration, and uninstallation may vary according to the operating system and your settings.
5. Purchase-related processing by RevenueCat
The App uses RevenueCat to validate Lifetime Pro purchases, determine the Pro entitlement, restore purchases, and prevent fraud. As part of this processing, RevenueCat may process:
- an anonymous App User ID generated or used by RevenueCat;
- an Apple purchase receipt or Google Play purchase token;
- information about the product, transaction, purchase history, purchase status, and Pro entitlement; and
- technical information needed for purchase processing, including information about the SDK, App version, device, operating system, store, and communications.
In V1, we will not set your name or email address as RevenueCat Customer Attributes. We do not use an advertising identifier, attribution integration, external analytics integration, or RevenueCat Experiments. We do not send captured images, ratio settings, or Sequence data to RevenueCat.
RevenueCat’s privacy terms also apply to its handling of information. After the App is implemented, we will verify actual SDK communications, processing locations, retention and deletion, and contract settings, and align this Policy and the store disclosures with the verified implementation.
6. Payment processing by Apple and Google
- Apple App Store or Google Play processes App distribution, Lifetime Pro purchases, payment, tax, purchase history, refunds, and store accounts under its own terms and privacy policy.
- The Operator does not directly collect or store your credit card number through the App.
- Purchase status provided by the store to RevenueCat or the App is used to grant, maintain, restore, or revoke the Pro entitlement.
- For a request concerning information independently controlled by Apple or Google, use the method provided by that company.
7. Information received through inquiries
We may receive the following information when you send us an email inquiry:
- your email address, name, or other information you include in the message or signature;
- the inquiry and subsequent correspondence;
- device, operating system, App version, time of occurrence, steps, and other information needed to investigate an issue; and
- the store, product, and transaction-identifying information needed to confirm a purchase or restoration.
As a general rule, we do not ask you to send captured photos. If a photo or similar information is necessary for an investigation, we will explain why it is needed. Please confirm that it does not contain another person’s information and provide only the minimum necessary information. Do not send passwords, credit card numbers, or store secrets.
8. Delivery information for the official Encadra website
- The official Encadra website is delivered using Cloudflare. When you access the site, Cloudflare or the Operator may process standard access information—such as IP address, access time, requested URL, browser and device information, communications, and security events—for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and incident response.
- As part of website operations across Convly, Encadra pages use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page usage and page performance and to improve the site and investigate incidents. According to Cloudflare’s published specifications, Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for analytics and is not intended to track individual visitors over time or across sites through IP addresses, user-agent strings, or other information.
- Encadra pages do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, advertising, identifiers for advertising purposes, or tracking cookies.
- This website analytics is separate from processing by the Encadra app itself. We do not add a behavioral analytics SDK to the App itself, and we do not send captured images, ratio settings, or Sequence data to Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Encadra pages do not include an inquiry form, Cloudflare Turnstile, or Resend. The email link uses your own email service.
- We do not store your language choice in a cookie,
localStorage, orsessionStorage, and we do not automatically redirect you based on browser language.
9. Purposes of processing
The Operator uses information under its control only as necessary for the following purposes:
- providing the App’s capture, image processing, save, settings, and Sequence features;
- validating Lifetime Pro purchases, determining and restoring entitlements, reflecting refund or revocation status, and preventing fraud;
- answering inquiries, confirming identity or purchase status, investigating issues, and preventing recurrence;
- delivering and securing the official website, preventing abuse, understanding page usage and performance, improving the site, and responding to incidents; and
- responding to lawful requests from a court, government authority, store, or other competent body.
In Encadra V1, we do not use information to serve advertising, create user advertising profiles, or perform behavioral targeting.
10. International processing and third-party services
- RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Cloudflare may process information at their facilities or locations, including locations outside Japan.
- Each provider’s privacy policy, contracts, security measures, and applicable law are relevant to its processing.
- The Operator will review the services, contracts, and actual data flows and take the disclosures, contractual measures, and other steps required by applicable law.
- Before publication, we will recheck the specific processing countries, legal characterization of service-provider or third-party processing, and the procedure for coordinating deletion requests based on the adopted configuration and contracts.
11. Retention and deletion
- On-device data is retained and deleted according to the periods and states described in Section 4.
- As a general rule, we delete inquiry information within one year after the inquiry is resolved. We may retain it for the period necessary to comply with law, handle a dispute, or prevent fraud.
- Information processed by RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Cloudflare is retained according to the applicable service terms, operational necessity, and law. We will apply the settings and deletion procedures under our control after confirming the adopted configuration.
- You control retention and deletion of photos saved to your photo library through the photo library on your device.
12. Security
- The Operator applies reasonable security measures appropriate to the nature and risk of the information handled, such as access restrictions, separation of secrets, protection of communications, and dependency management.
- We limit information sent outside the device by processing photos and settings on-device as a general rule and by not configuring information unnecessary for purchases in RevenueCat.
- Absolute security of internet communications or on-device storage cannot be guaranteed. If we confirm a problem, we will respond according to the impact, applicable law, and available communication methods.
13. Your rights and how to make a request
- Depending on applicable law, you may have a right to request access, correction, restriction, deletion, or another action concerning information controlled by the Operator.
- Send a request to
info@convly.jp. To prevent improper disclosure, we may reasonably ask you to verify your identity or relationship to a purchase. - We respond in accordance with applicable law. If an exception under law, the rights of another person, security, or the fact that the Operator does not control the information prevents us from fulfilling all or part of a request, we will explain the reason.
- For information independently controlled by Apple, Google, or another provider, use that provider’s request channel.
- You may remove on-device settings and temporary data through available in-App controls, operating-system App-data deletion, or uninstallation. Delete photo-library photos through the photo library.
14. Minors
- The App does not establish its own minimum age and does not create an account to collect age information.
- A minor using the App or Lifetime Pro must obtain consent from a parent or other guardian when required by applicable law and must follow Apple or Google’s age, family, and payment conditions.
- A parent or guardian who believes that information was provided to the Operator without required consent may contact
info@convly.jp.
15. Changes to this Policy
- The Operator may change this Policy in response to changes in law, App features, service providers, or information-handling practices.
- We will post the revised text and revision date on the official website. If a change materially affects user rights or information handling, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent through an in-App notice or another reasonable method as required by applicable law.
- We will not apply a revised practice retroactively without consent when applicable law requires that consent.
16. Language and contact
- The Japanese version is the authoritative version of this Policy. The English version is a corresponding translation provided to help users understand the Japanese version.
- If a translation differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version will be used as the reference. This language provision does not limit non-waivable rights in your country or region of residence.
- For a question or request concerning this Policy or information handling, contact
