Encadra Terms of Use
Revision date: August 11, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using Encadra, a camera application provided by Akira Shimizu, a sole proprietor trading as Convly (the “Operator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please review these Terms before using Encadra (the “App”).
1. Scope and relationship with store terms
- These Terms apply to the App and the features made available in the App.
- The terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play used by you also apply to downloading the App and to purchases, payment, refunds, and other store transactions.
- The Apple Standard EULA applies to the iOS version. These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA by setting out Encadra-specific conditions concerning features, purchase restoration, prohibited conduct, support, and related matters.
- If these Terms conflict with applicable store terms, the Apple Standard EULA, or non-waivable law, the applicable store terms, Apple Standard EULA, or non-waivable law will control to the extent of that conflict.
2. Eligibility and minors
- You must use the App in accordance with the laws and store conditions that apply to you.
- If you are a minor or otherwise have limited legal capacity and applicable law requires consent from a parent, guardian, or other legal representative, you must obtain that consent.
- Purchases are subject to the age, family, and payment conditions established by Apple or Google.
- The App does not create its own account to collect your age information.
3. Free features
- The App is free to download. Standard-ratio normal capture and other features identified as free in the store listing or in the App may be used without purchasing Lifetime Pro.
- Available camera functions, image quality, flash behavior, and other operation may vary depending on the device, operating system, camera capabilities, and permission settings.
- You do not need to register an Encadra account to use the free features.
4. Lifetime Pro
- Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks features identified on the purchase screen as Pro features, such as Custom, Pinned, Free, and Sequence.
- Lifetime Pro has no automatic renewal or recurring charge.
- The name
Lifetimemeans a non-consumable entitlement associated with the account used for the purchase in the same store. It does not guarantee that the App, a particular operating system, device, store, or individual feature will remain available or supported forever. - Please review the Pro features shown in the App and on the store purchase confirmation screen at the time of purchase.
5. Purchase, payment, and pending transactions
- Lifetime Pro purchases and payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The Operator does not directly collect or store your credit card number in the App.
- The purchase price is the localized tax-inclusive price displayed on the store purchase confirmation screen for your region. You are responsible for device, data communication, and other costs required to use the App.
- If you cancel before completing the purchase process, a Lifetime Pro entitlement will not be granted.
- While a transaction is pending with the store, a new Lifetime Pro entitlement may not become available immediately. It becomes available after the store confirms completion and the App confirms the Pro entitlement.
- If you already have an active Pro entitlement, we will not revoke that existing entitlement merely because another transaction is pending.
6. Restoring a purchase
- You may restore Lifetime Pro without an additional charge within the same store: using the same Apple Account in the Apple App Store, or the same Google account in Google Play.
- Restoration requires access to the applicable store account, an internet connection, and confirmation of purchase information by the store and RevenueCat.
- We do not transfer purchase rights between Apple and Google. A purchase made on iOS cannot be transferred to the Google Play version, and a purchase made through Google Play cannot be transferred to the iOS version.
- We do not provide a separate Encadra account for cross-store restoration.
7. Cancellation, refunds, and revocation
- To cancel before completing a purchase, use the controls on the applicable store purchase screen.
- A refund request after completion, including eligibility, timing, and method, is handled under the procedures and conditions of the Apple App Store or Google Play where you made the purchase.
- If the store or purchase-validation service confirms that a purchase entitlement has ended because of a refund, payment reversal, or another reason, the App may deactivate Lifetime Pro.
- This section does not limit any right to a refund, repair, damages, or other remedy available to you for lack of conformity or under applicable law.
8. License to use the App
- Subject to your compliance with these Terms, applicable law, and store terms, the Operator grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to use the App personally on supported devices.
- If the Apple Standard EULA or other applicable store terms separately define eligible devices, family use, or the permitted scope of use, those conditions also apply.
- These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or any related intellectual property to you.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not engage in the following conduct when using the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law:
- violating a law, court order, or applicable store term;
- infringing the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, reputation, or other rights or legitimate interests of the Operator or another person;
- interfering with, fraudulently manipulating, or circumventing the App, purchase confirmation, or entitlement determination;
- making a fraudulent payment, abusing a refund process, falsifying purchase information, or improperly using another person’s store account;
- analyzing, decompiling, disassembling, or taking a similar action for the purpose of improperly obtaining source code for the App;
- selling, renting, redistributing, or sublicensing the App or any part of it without permission; or
- impairing the security or availability of the App or another person’s use of it.
10. Intellectual property
- Intellectual property rights in the App, its name, logo, screens, text, software, and other materials provided by the Operator belong to the Operator or the applicable rights holder.
- Rights in photographs you take do not transfer to the Operator merely because you used the App.
- You are responsible for confirming the rights of other persons, location rules, and applicable laws concerning subjects, places, and uses of photographs.
11. Third-party services
- The App uses the Apple App Store or Google Play for distribution and payment, and RevenueCat for purchase validation and Pro entitlement determination.
- Each provider’s terms and privacy policy apply to the availability, accounts, payment, refunds, and data processing of its service.
- An outage, specification change, or discontinuation of a third-party service may temporarily or permanently affect purchase confirmation, restoration, or another function. The Operator will provide information or assistance where reasonably practicable.
12. Changes, suspension, and discontinuation
- The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App when reasonably necessary to comply with law, maintain security, respond to changes in an operating system or third-party service, or address technical or operational needs.
- If a change is expected to materially affect users and does not require an emergency response, the Operator will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice in the App, on the official website, or by another reasonable method.
- Advance notice may not be possible when immediate action is required for security, law or government action, store removal, or another unavoidable reason.
- Any change or discontinuation will not limit rights you have under applicable law or store conditions.
13. Warranties and liability
- The Operator will use reasonable care to maintain the security and quality of the App. However, the Operator does not promise that the App will be uninterrupted or free from error, variation, save failure, or malfunction on every device or in every capture condition.
- Before an important capture, you should check the save destination, available storage, battery, permissions, and capture result, and prepare another capture method when appropriate.
- The Operator’s liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability arising from the Operator’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- These Terms do not exclude warranties, remedies, or rights to claim damages provided by non-waivable law in your country or region of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
- The Operator may change these Terms in response to changes in law, features, purchase methods, third-party services, or operational needs.
- The revised terms and their effective date will be displayed on the official website or in the App by a reasonable method. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, the Operator will provide reasonable advance notice as required by applicable law.
- If applicable law requires your consent to a change, that change will not apply to you until the required consent is obtained.
- A purchase completed before a change, and rights provided by applicable law, will not be unfairly removed solely because these Terms were changed.
15. Governing law, jurisdiction, and mandatory rights
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
- Courts in Japan having jurisdiction over the Operator’s location will have agreed jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes relating to the App or these Terms.
- The preceding paragraphs do not prevent the application of consumer-protection or other non-waivable law in your country or region of residence, or your use of an available court or other dispute-resolution process that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Language and contact
- The Japanese version is the authoritative version of these Terms. The English version is a corresponding translation provided to help users understand the Japanese version.
- If a translation differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version will be used as the reference. This language provision does not limit non-waivable rights in your country or region of residence.
- For questions about these Terms, the App, or purchase restoration, contact
info@convly.jp. As a general rule, submit a refund request through the store where you made the purchase.
